Product description
Eleuterio Martinez Arzok created Faustino in 1861 after purchasing the grapes and lands of Marques del Pierto. The objective at initially was to make wine that could be marketed in bigger volumes. Over time, the firm grew and began to place a greater emphasis on the quality of its wines. Campillo, Parrita, Famar, and Santana are just a few of the Faustino wines with names that represent their origin vineyard. After some time, it was abandoned, only to be revived 60 years later when the business released a limited quantity of wines from certain vineyards. Julio Faustino Martinez took over the firm in 1957 and shifted the focus to a broader worldwide market; their products are now marketed in over 47 countries.
The aroma of Faustino V Reserva is rich and complex, with notes of red berries, vanilla, and spices. The wine is well-balanced, and it pairs nicely with the mild oak flavor that the Faustino V Reserva acquires over time. The palate is met with a round, velvety, meaty wine that combines the tannins from sweet fruits and the oak extremely well, resulting in a delicate yet firm wine.
